The plaque was positioned on a memorial stone and access to the field was possible until 2012, when the memorial stone and plaque were removed following the completion of archaeological work run by the Battlefields Trust which relocated the battlefield. The stone was relocated to the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, where it can be seen with an explanatory plaque detailing its relocation (see https://www.battlefieldstrust.com/wotrmemorial/memorial.asp?MemorialID=1215).
